Purpose: To provide an update on the Burnaby Lake Overpass Project.

Purpose: To seek Council approval to fly Indigenous flags (‘Every Child Matters’ and ‘Survivors’ flags) during the month of September 2025.

Purpose: To obtain Council approval for a Contract Award (CA) for the materials, supervision, labour, equipment, tools, permits, and transportation for the Jim Lorimer Playground Rejuvenation.

Purpose: To obtain Council approval to award a Contract Award (CA) to Velosolutions Canada West Ltd. for the construction works for Phase 2 – Part B Progressive Design Build – Burnaby Mountain Bike Skills Course.

Purpose: To obtain Council approval for a Contract Change (CC) for the supply and delivery of Water Service Setters.

Purpose: To obtain Council approval for a Contract Change (CC) for the supply and delivery of Corporation Brass.

Purpose: To obtain Council approval for a Contract Renewal (CR) for the supply and delivery of tires and related services. 

Purpose: To obtain Council approval for a Contract Renewal (CR) for archaeological consulting services.

Purpose: To obtain Council approval for a Contract Renewal (CR) for the ArcGIS software, including maintenance and support.

Purpose: To seek Council approval to amend the Accessibility Plan to add an action to explore how emergency management procedures in Burnaby can better consider the needs of people with disabilities.

Purpose: To provide an update on the U.S. Tariffs and Canadian Counter Tariffs and impacts to City of Burnaby Operations.

Purpose: To respond to Council’s request for information and analysis on the feasibility of asking the Province to address the mental health and addiction crisis in BC and Burnaby. 

Purpose: To provide Council with information on construction activity as reflected by the building permits that have been issued for the subject periods.

Purpose: to permit the construction of a high-rise residential development with a neighbourhood commercial unit comprised o a 40-storey mixed-use building which includes a child care facility and non-market and market rental residential units

Purpose: to permit the construction of a phased infill residential and commercial development on the subject site, comprised of three new 45, 38 and 37-storey high-rise buildings, inclusive of 1,467 new market rental units, and retention of the existing residential buildings on the site, with additional structured and underground parking

Purpose: to establish development guidelines for the construction of a 50-storey residential rental tower with an adjoining 6-storey community hub inclusive of an auditorium, retail space, community serving uses (such as a food bank), and office space. The development proposal includes approximately 480 purpose-built rental units, including approximately 96 non-market rental units

The applicant decided not to proceed with an amendment to REZ #18-24 and consequently the PDC report Item 8.5. was withdrawn from the March 25, 2025, Council agenda. As such, Bylaw No. 14731 was not read and can be abandoned. (Also see Bylaw #14030)

Purpose: To direct staff to schedule a Committee of the Whole to review R1 District Bylaw.

Purpose: To seek Council authorization to advocate to the federal government to establish a two-way arms embargo with Israel and transform the Gaza temporary resident visa (TRV) program to support the safe reunification of Gazan-Canadian families, and for the City of Burnaby to sign the Apartheid-Free Communities Pledge.
