The purpose of the proposed bylaw is to close certain portions of highway – closure of the length of the lane allowance adjacent the north property line, the west property line and the south property line; and a triangular portion of the Barker Avenue road allowance adjacent the development site (all and singular those certain parcels or tracts of land, situate, lying and being in the City of Burnaby, in the Province of British Columbia, more particularly known and described as those portions of road dedicated in District Lot 151, Group 1, New Westminster District: a) by Plan EPP26598 identified as “Parcel A” and containing 209.8m²; b) by Plan 1895 identified as “Parcel B” and containing 417.8 m²; c) by Bylaw Plan 45446 identified as “Parcel C” and containing 184.8 m²; and d) by Plan 1895 identified as “Parcel D” and containing 564.9 m²) all shown outlined in bold on Reference Plan EPP10958 prepared by Jesse Morin, B.C.L.S.
