REPORTS

A)

CHILD CARE RESOURCES GROUP UPDATE FOR 2015

The Director Planning and Building submitted a report to provide a summary of activities of the Child Care Resources Group during 2014 and to propose a Workplan for 2015.

The Director Planning and Building recommended:

1. THAT the Committee request Council to endorse the proposed 2015 Child Care Resources Group Workplan.

2. THAT the Committee request Council to approve an expenditure of up to $900 from the 2015 Boards, Committees and Commissions budget to cover the production costs of printing of child care brochures.

UPDATE ON THE BURNABY HEALTHIER COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP

The Director Planning and Building submitted a report to provide an update on the initiatives of the Burnaby Healthier Community Partnership.

The Director Planning and Building recommended:

1. THAT this report be received for the information of the Committee and Council.

2. THAT a copy of this report be forwarded to Dr. Lisa Mu, Medical Health Officer for Burnaby and Mr. Ron Burton, Chair, Burnaby Board of Education.
