An application was received from the
British Columbia Youth Parliament (BCYP), a non-profit, non-partisan and
non-denominational organization comprised of youth between the ages of 16 to
21, seeking support for Obsequium (an evening gala event to raise funds for
Camp Phoenix) to be held at the Abdul Ladha Hall Science Student Centre at
UBC on 2016 April 08. Camp Phoenix is a subsidized sleep-away camp for
underprivileged, First Nations, disabled, and at-risk youth aged 8-12.
