An application was received from
AIESEC Canada Inc. requesting a grant to assist with the costs of organizing
the 2017 Western Regional Conference to be held on 2017 October 6 – 8 at the
Delta Hotels by Marriott in Burnaby. This three-day annual conference
attracts over 150 ambitious and motivated youth leaders from the eight AIESEC
chapters across Western Canada – University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser
University, University of Victoria, University of Calgary, University of
Alberta, University of Manitoba, Mount Royal University, and the University
of Saskatchewan, and features a stimulating environment that provides
self-discovery, teamwork, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
