Purpose: To seek Council’s endorsement of a proposed expanded wildfire prevention program for Burnaby Mountain and approve the required funding.

Purpose: To seek Council approval to enter into a nominal Proposed Licence Agreement (PLA) with the Greater Vancouver Sewerage & Drainage District for portions of Burnaby Fraser Foreshore Park Surrounding 7215 Mountbatten Street.

Purpose: To seek Council approval to grant two Statutory Rights-of-Way in favour of BC Hydro over a portion of 3676 Kensington Avenue and 3860 Sperling Avenue to permit the installation, operations and maintenance of electrical works.

Purpose: To seek Council approval for delivering the Barnet Marine Park parking program with four-hour time limits and with the support of a third-party contract service provider.

Purpose: To obtain Council approval for a Contract Award (CA) for electrical maintenance and repair services of City owned buildings and facilities.

Purpose: To obtain Council approval for a Contract Change (CC) to B.C. Communications Inc. for the supply, delivery, maintenance, and repair of radio equipment.

Purpose: To seek Council approval to request changes to the Procedure Bylaw in regard to the Terms of Reference for Advisory Bodies.

Purpose: to authorize the execution of a Housing Agreement for the non-market rental housing development at 5980 Kathleen Avenue and repeal Bylaw No. 14726

Purpose: to authorize the execution of a Housing Agreement for the non-market rental housing development at 6616 Telford Avenue

Purpose: to permit the redevelopment of the Forest Lawn Memorial Park funeral home facilities, to facilitate the proposed redevelopment to rezone a portion of the subject property, discharge Covenant BL418983 (tree preservation) and discharge and replace Covenant BL418981 (no build buffer)

No items of correspondence were received for Council's decision. All other items of correspondence were published at the Council Correspondence and Public Notice Submissions package dated January 13, 2026.

Purpose: To direct staff to report back on minimum public engagement standards expected of senior government partners for supportive housing and complex care housing projects.

Purpose: To seek Council approval to acknowledge the inconsistency and declare procedural deficiency related to the 5389 Imperial Street Supportive Housing and Complex Care Housing.

Recommendation:


THAT the Parks, Recreation and Culture Committee be scheduled to be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 5:00 pm in the Council Chamber.
