Purpose: To seek authorization to advance rezoning reports for in-stream applications, directly to Council for introduction.

Purpose: To seek Council approval to request an amendment to the Interim Guidelines and Procedures for Naming Civic Assets.

Purpose: To seek Council approval to request staff report on the feasibility of amending the Burnaby Council Code of Conduct.

Purpose: To seek Council approval to amend the Terms of Reference for the Executive Committee of Council (ECC).

Purpose: To seek Council approval to remove the previously approved 20% increase for the sewer parcel tax for 2025.

Purpose: To seek Council approval to request staff to review the elimination of the sewer parcel tax and add sewer utility charges on the utility bill.

Purpose: To provide a status update (SU) on the current status of major civic building projects.

Purpose: To provide a status update (SU) on select Engineering projects.

Purpose: To provide Council with a status update (SU) on policing operations covering October to November 2024 and the Annual Performance Plan quarterly report covering July to September 2024.

Purpose: To provide Council with the Burnaby Fire Department's status update (SU) available to the end of December 2024.

Purpose: to permit the construction of a mixed use development above underground parking within the Courtyard Neighbourhood (Buildings C1 – C4) of the Southgate Master Plan area. The development is comprised of a six storey market strata building, a six storey non-market rental building with a child care facility, and two market strata high-rise buildings with podiums and a small-scale commercial opportunity

Memorandum - General Manager Planning & Development - March 11, 2025

Purpose: to permit the construction of a high-density mixed-use development above underground parking. The development will be completed in two primary phases. Phase 1 (Kingsway South), fronting Kingsway, will be comprised of two high-rise market rental apartment buildings above ground-level commercial retail units, and also includes the retrofit and retention of the existing office building at 3777 Kingsway, commonly known as ‘The Boot’. Phase 2 (Boundary North), fronting Boundary, will be comprised of three high-rise residential strata buildings, one storey commercial and amenity podium
