Resulting from the findings and recommendations of the Mayor’s Task Force on Community Housing, and other adopted and emerging housing policies, the proposed Conceptual Master Plan also includes an innovative approach to the provision of non-market rental housing for Council’s consideration, involving the development of a ‘swing site’ to temporarily house tenants displaced by development in the Metrotown area while their replacement homes are being constructed. No specific development is being proposed by the subject rezoning application
