As the Parks, Recreation and Culture Commission was dissolved and replaced by the new Parks, Recreation and Culture Committee, the last minutes of the Commission are to be approved and adopted by Council to complete and close the public record for the Commission.

Purpose: To obtain Council approval to award a Contract Increase (CI) for the selected “Community Safe Partners” IPD team to complete the detailed design and construction of the new Burnaby RCMP Detachment located at 4038, 4066, 4086 and 4244 Norland Avenue.

Purpose: To provide Council an update and request approval to continue with option B feasibility study for the future City Hall at 4949 Canada Way.

Purpose: To seek Council approval of a $2.2 million grant to Metro Vancouver Housing for a non-market housing development on a City-owned site at 7388 Southwynde Avenue. 

Purpose: To seek Council approval of a $3.6 million grant to Metro Vancouver Housing to develop non-market housing at 7730 Sixth Street.

Purpose: To summarize the public consultation process, and to provide Council with recommendations regarding the subject food primary liquor licence.

Purpose: To obtain Council approval for a Contract Award (CA) for the Enterprise Content Management Platform.

Purpose: To obtain Council approval to award a Contract Increase (CI) for Supply and Maintenance of Multifunction Printers Copiers.

Purpose: To obtain Council approval to award a Contract Increase (CI) for Capital Projects Delivery Services.

Purpose: To obtain Council approval to award a Contract Increase (CI) for Capital Projects Delivery Services – Colliers Project Leaders Inc.

Purpose: To convey information regarding the status and achievements of the Speculation and Vacancy Tax and to propose feedback to be provided to the Province.

Purpose: To seek Council approval of the Burnaby Arts Council operating funding contribution for the 2024 fiscal year.

Purpose: To seek Council approval of the Festivals Burnaby Grant applications received during October 2023.

Purpose: To propose a number of amendments to the parking and loading sections of the Burnaby Zoning Bylaw in response to the Transit-Oriented Development Parking and Transportation Demand Management Policy report recommendations and recent changes to the Local Government Act.

Purpose: To seek endorsement of the proposed updates to the Brentwood Site Conceptual Master Plan in the Brentwood Town Centre, as a basis for receiving community input through consultation.

Purpose: To provide Council with information on construction activity as reflected by the building permits that have been issued for the subject periods.

Purpose: To provide an update on the Housing Choices program and next steps following recent provincial legislation changes on small-scale multi-unit housing.

Purpose: To inform Council of the following retirements from October to December 2023.

Purpose: to amend the Southgate Master Plan to facilitate future land uses and development in accordance with the City's Rental Use Zoning Policy, and other City policies that have been enacted since the Southgate Master Plan's original adoption

Purpose: to permit the construction of a mixed use development above underground parking within the Courtyard Neighbourhood (Buildings C1 – C4) of the Southgate Master Plan area. The development is comprised of a six storey market strata building, a six storey non-market rental building with a child care facility, and two market strata high-rise buildings with podiums and a small-scale commercial opportunity

Purpose: to permit the construction of a high-density mixed-use development above underground parking. The development will be completed in two primary phases. Phase 1 (Kingsway South), fronting Kingsway, will be comprised of two high-rise market rental apartment buildings above ground-level commercial retail units, and also includes the retrofit and retention of the existing office building at 3777 Kingsway, commonly known as ‘The Boot’. Phase 2 (Boundary North), fronting Boundary, will be comprised of three high-rise residential strata buildings, one storey commercial and amenity podium
