Purpose: To seek Council endorsement of the principles of the Supportive Policies Agreement (SPA) for the Burnaby Mountain Gondola (BMG) project, and approval to finalize and execute the SPA.

Purpose: To change signing officers on the City bank accounts.

Purpose: To seek Council approval for staff to explore the feasibility of holding a screening for the film titled "disABLEd" in an effort to raise awareness of the Access Advisory Committee and the newly launched Accessibility Feedback form.

Purpose: To seek authorization for staff to organize a visit for Access Advisory Committee members to L'Arche Greater Vancouver's community programming and inclusive housing facility at 7415 Sussex Avenue.

Purpose: To seek authorization for staff to explore ways to promote the Accessibility Feedback Form.

Purpose: To obtain Council approval of revised criteria for the use of the Community Benefit Bonus Affordable Housing Reserve (CBBAHR) for Community-Sponsored and City-Initiated developments, and to consider grants to support the acquisition of existing purpose-built market rental buildings by non-profit organizations.

Purpose: To provide information on accessibility in Parks, Recreation and Culture (PRC) facilities.

Purpose: That staff be directed to report back on historical background of the June 29, 1914, Council resolution regarding the Komagata Maru and options for reconciliation and acknowledgment.   

Purpose: To provide Council with information on construction activity as reflected by the building permits that have been issued for the subject periods.

Purpose: to allow for a high-density mixed-use development comprised of residential (1432 market strata and 235 affordable rental units), along with commercial space fronting Lougheed Highway and live-work units further south on the site. The proposed built form includes three residential towers (46, 54, and 60-storeys) above a common 5-storey podium and a shared underground parkade

Purpose: to permit the construction of a six-storey mixed-use building on Edmonds Street with commercial uses at street level and residential units above, as well as a four-storey townhouse building fronting Wedgewood Street

Memorandum - General Manager Planning & Development - February 25, 2025

Purpose: to permit the construction of a multiple family residential development above underground parking. The proposed development is Phase 1 of the Willingdon Lands Urban Village Master Plan. The development is comprised of three buildings: a six-storey non-market rental building, a 14-storey market rental and non-market rental building, and a 20-storey leasehold strata building with street-oriented townhomes
