7564 BARNET HWY (HARRY JEROME SPORTS CENTRE) FACILITY USE STUDY

Purpose: To provide information on the facility at 7564 Barnet Highway (Harry Jerome Sports Centre) and seek Council’s approval for an open market call for proposals to determine the optimal use of the facility moving forward.

PROPOSED ZONING BYLAW AMENDMENT - LIQUOR AND CANNABIS STORE DISTANCE SEPARATION

Purpose: To propose an amendment to the Burnaby Zoning Bylaw to clarify separation requirements for liquor and cannabis stores.

LANGUAGE TRANSLATIONS IN BURNABY

Purpose: To seek Council direction on the implementation of a structured approach to language translations in Burnaby, with a recommendation to endorse Phase 1 of the Translation Adoption Framework.

SPONSORSHIP AND ADVERTISING POLICY

Purpose: To seek Council approval of the draft Sponsorship and Advertising Policy and delegate approval thresholds for entering sponsorship and advertising agreements

DVP #25-15 - 4838 BYRNE ROAD - VARIANCE FOR FENCE HEIGHT

Purpose: To seek Council approval for Development Variance Permit (DVP) #25-15.

Purpose: To obtain Council approval for a Contract Change (CC) for the Dispatch and Fire Station Alerting Solution project.

Recommendation:

Recommendation:

THAT the International Relations and Friendship Cities Committee (IRFCC) be rescheduled from July 22, 2025 to Wednesday, July 2 at 2:00 pm.
